Glimpses of grace seen in the everyday

The Trinity and Me

Those openings and closings of Paul’s letters are something I usually don’t pay much attention to.  You know, all the grace, peace, etc.

Well, one day the closing of 2 Corinthians jumped off the page as I saw there how all of the three members of the Trinity are intimately involved in my life, each in a very special way.

May the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ,

the love of God,

and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with you all.

2 Corinthians 13:14

In my head, I know that God loves me very much and is involved in every detail of my life.  But too often I struggle to actually grasp the reality that he actually puts His personal attention and affection on me as an individual, not only as part of His beloved family.

In the next three posts, I’ll dig into each of these a bit.

  1. Thats so true. So many times I see God as this powerful being that very rarely effects my life. I have to remind myself that God is with me everywhere I go.
